IMPAKT uses these standards to keep field notes and frameworks useful without turning an experiment, source, or model output into a claim it cannot support.
Observed, inferred, or unknown
Inferred
A reasoned interpretation built from observations, mechanisms, or comparable evidence.
Publication rule: Label the inference and identify the assumptions connecting evidence to conclusion.

A material variable that has not been measured, verified, or supplied.
Publication rule: Keep it visible and state what evidence would reduce the uncertainty.
Measurement and comparison
A result needs its basis
Averages, percentages, and prices are not portable facts. Their meaning depends on the workload and the date.
- 01Name the workload and the decision it informs.
- 02Define the unit: request, token, second, completed workflow, user, period, or another explicit basis.
- 03Match the quality threshold and completion definition across alternatives.
- 04Record model, serving configuration, hardware or provider, relevant software, and evidence date.
- 05Expose volume, concurrency, input and output shape, repetition, cache behavior, and test duration when material.
- 06Include failure paths, retries, fallbacks, human review, and excluded costs.
- 07State what the comparison does not prove and where it should not be generalized.
Prefer inspectable evidence
IMPAKT prefers primary documentation, direct measurements, and sources that expose their method. Time-sensitive claims should carry the date they were checked. Vendor evidence can illustrate a mechanism, but should not be presented as independent proof of buyer outcomes.
Change the record clearly
When a material error is confirmed, IMPAKT corrects the canonical page and makes the change visible when it affects the decision. A new price or product behavior is an update; a misstatement of the earlier evidence is a correction.
IMPAKT remains responsible for the public claim
AI may help organize, challenge, edit, summarize, or create variants. Public work must still begin with a real question, observation, source, or judgment; be checked for factual and quantitative accuracy; remove confidential details; retain material caveats; and receive human review before publication. Heavy synthetic contribution should be disclosed when it would not otherwise be clear.
